The State of Qatar, represented by the Qatar Mission to the International Maritime Organization (IMO), took part in the meetings of the 50th Session of the IMO Facilitation Committee (FAL 50), held at the IMO in London from on March 23-27.
Key topics discussed included adopting seamless procedures at ports, accelerating maritime digitalization, and enhancing international cooperation between IMO Member States Qatar to ensure uninterrupted trade flow and efficient and sustainable maritime industry.
Qatar pays attention to such meetings to contribute to supporting global efforts to develop the maritime industry and enhance supply chains efficiency. The Qatari delegation stresses Qatar’s commitment to supporting IMO initiatives and working with international partners for a maritime transportation industry that is securer and more efficient.
