An MOT delegation, headed by Assistant Undersecretary of Maritime Transport Affairs, Dr. Saleh bin Fetais Al Marri, attended the 2nd session of the International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA) Council in France.

The session discussed various topics of navigational aids and maritime safety.

The MOT’s committed to achieving maritime safety and protecting lives and property at sea, in addition to achieving the goals of IALA that aim at unifying the standards and specifications of navigational aids, conducting relative research and studies, and raising awareness of the importance of navigational aids and their essential role to maritime safety.
