Minister of Transport H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulla bin Mohammed Al Thani and the Republic of Malta’s Minister for Transport, Infrastructure, and Public Works Dr. Chris Bonett met in London, on the sidelines of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Assembly’s 34th Session.

They discussed Qatari-Maltese relations in transportation industry and port services and ways to strengthen them. They also discussed the latest global developments with regard to the safety and security of maritime navigation and protecting marine life.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Saud Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the UK, Ireland, and Iceland, and Qatar’s Permanent Representative to the IMO.
