As Qatar today concluded its participation in the 15th edition of InnoTrans (InnoTrans 2026) in Berlin, Germany, the Ministry of Transport’s Assistant Undersecretary for Land Transport Affairs Eng. Abdullah Saif Al-Sulaiti held separate meetings with delegates of some world companies participating in the event, including with a Deutsche Bahn delegation headed by its Managing Director for International Markets and Consulting Stefan Geisperger, an Italian National Railways (FS Group) team headed by FS International CEO Luigi Corradi, and a delegation from Egis.

Enhancing bilateral cooperation in smart and sustainable transportation and railroad infrastructure were in the center of discussions, and ways to enhance them, particularly exchanging expertise and benefiting from latest technologies in the industry.

Qatar’s booth at the 4-day fair showcased some of Qatar’s key projects, strategies and initiatives in smart and sustainable transportation, including the Ministry of Transport 2025-2030 Strategy, MOT’s Autonomous Vehicle Strategy, the electric Robotaxi successful tryouts, the public bus full electrification plan, the Public Bus Infrastructure Program, and the Qatar Public Transport Master Plan.
